Mid-Summer 2024: Close the Loop Collection

Close the Loop Collection: Taking Steps to Limit Textile Waste

Summer is in full swing which means our annual Mid-Summer Collection drop is here, featuring familiar prints in reimagined styles.

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

What is the annual Mid-Summer Collection? Great question! Each summer we launch a small collection in the middle of summer which utilizes excess fabrics limiting our textile waste and carbon footprint.

As textile waste continues to be a large percentage of overall landfill waste, we want to hold ourselves accountable and reduce our textile overstock by recycling materials with an annual collection.

This is a small step as we continue to work towards more sustainable business practices that are better for the environment. We are excited to be on our way to becoming a more sustainable African clothing brand.

Here at D’iyanu, we love to give the people what they want. In this case, that’s another two prints for the Jioni Women's African Print Corset Dress. The Jioni Dress has been a longtime fan favorite, with the sweetheart neckline and fit and flare skirt, we keep bringing her back in more colorways.

And another fan favorite, the Ronke, in Light Blue Pink Iris, has hit the shelves. The Ronke Women's African Print Maxi dress in Light Blue Pink Iris print is the perfect dress for summer with a flattering halter top, flowy skirt, and adjustable slit.
