-Hugs body/true to size (for me): Great stretch that held throughout the night/event.
-The fringe was a nice surprise for people. The top and colors caught their eye first (referencing Jamaican flag colors) then working their eyes down to fringe for an extra surprise!
- I was worried about the fringe tangling, tripping over them etc. I didn't have an issue the first time wearing. I'm 5.3 and I had on 3-4 heels with platform and a covered heel. Maybe in a heel with an exposed back with cause some maneuvering with the fringe hanging but I had no issues.
- This dress will be great dressed down with sandals or sneakers and/or dressed way up!

Theme Night Dress

The dress is beautiful and will work well for ‘80s theme night on my upcoming cruise. I did take it to a professional cleaners to have the fringes shortened a bit and the fringes sealed so they don’t fray. I do wish you would bring more dresses to your line of clothing. Also wish you would use some different fabrics. Overall, great quality dress.

Beautiful dress BUT….

I really love how shapely this dress makes me feel but for someone like me 5’2” I step
On the threads and the first day of wearing it I have lost like 10or more of these . I don’t know why they are not fastened tight they come off so easily. I love supporting black owned but the quality control needs to be superb so that we don’t get a bad rep

It is so lovely that this dress has a beautiful print in SOFT, LIGHTWEIGHT, FLOWING fabric. So many of Diyanu's fabrics are beautiful but stiff, hard, and scratchy to my skin. This dress works, and it will travel well. The only two things I can think of to make this dress perfect are to match the seams to the pattern of the dress and to use a more stretchy, form-fitting fabric. I have a small waist, and even with a small size, it was too big in the waist, and an XS would have been too small.
